I was thinking about the price of organic foods and how they are more expensive than other foods. Isnt this just what we were getting back before we started adding chemicals to everything?
So when we consider the rise in the cost of food I think we need to compare apples with apples. In this case we need to compare the price of veggies and meats in the past to organic veggie and farm raised animals. It actually seems funny that we need to add "farm raised" to prefix animals ... how else would ( should ) you raise a farm animal.
If I want food ... and I am talking real food I need almost to look closely and choose or else I can get stuck with food-like products.
I went to get my family some ice cream and they asked me if I wanted whipped topping, I wasnt sure what they meant and asked them if that was whipped cream, they replied no it is whipped topping. What is whipped topping made from?
Anyway sort of a rant here ... but just came to realize that I am paying extra for what used to be assumed.
